The Service

seatingplan.studio is an online seating chart and guest list tool for weddings and events. Depending on your plan, we provide a visual editor, CSV import, cloud save, PDF/PNG/CSV export, and read-only share links. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We try to give reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid features you rely on.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You may try the editor without an account (local storage); cloud save, plan limits, and billing require an account with a valid email address.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you must not:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by automated scraping beyond permitted use.
• Reverse engineer or copy the Service except where allowed by mandatory law.
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or deceptive communications.
• Circumvent plan limits or security measures.

Your content

You retain ownership of the guest lists, seating plans, and other material you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant CYTHERE a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including generating share links you request. You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights needed to upload and share it.

Public sharing

The Service lets you publish view-only links to your plans and guest lists. Anyone with a link may be able to see the content you included. You choose what to share. CYTHERE is not responsible for how third parties use publicly shared links once you publish them.

Plans and payment

seatingplan.studio offers a Free plan, a one-time Couple purchase, and a Pro subscription. Current plan limits and prices are shown on our website and in the app. We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice where required by law; changes apply to future billing periods.

• Free — visual editor and guest list in the browser, up to 50 guests, no cloud save, export or sharing.
• Couple — one-time purchase (currently €6 through Stripe): PDF, PNG, and CSV export, share links, unlimited guests, 1 seating plan.
• Pro — monthly subscription (currently €11 through Stripe): everything in Couple, unlimited plans, export and sharing, unlimited guests.
• When you purchase or subscribe, you complete payment on Stripe Checkout. Your plan is activated after Stripe confirms payment.
• Pro renews automatically each billing period until you cancel through the Stripe customer portal linked from Settings.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts; if you ask us to begin the Service immediately during the withdrawal period, you may owe a proportionate amount for the period used.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by CYTHERE or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

Third-party services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party providers such as Supabase (hosting and authentication) or Stripe (payments). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. CYTHERE is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, CYTHERE disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Seating charts are organizational aids only; you remain responsible for your seating decisions and event compliance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CYTHERE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. CYTHERE's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid CYTHERE for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, delete plans from the dashboard, and contact us to request account deletion. You may cancel a Pro subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless applicable law provides otherwise. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, create risk for other users or the Service, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. By using the Service, you also agree to that policy. Privacy and billing questions can be sent to the contact details below.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the Service or by email. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
